Salute to Excellence
Application deadline: typically September 30
Salute to Excellence is a national recognition program for 4-H adult volunteers. Two separate awards are given; one for volunteers with more than 10 years in 4-H, and one for those with less than 10 years. Minnesota winners receive a plaque and are nominated for the North Central Regional contest. Winners at the regional contest qualify for the national contest.
