Aquatic Robotics Project
Learn science, technology, engineering and math skills to design and build your own remote-operated vehicle, then adapt it to monitor the water quality of Minnesota's rivers, lakes and streams. Solve scientific questions by designing and carrying out real experiments. Learn about biology by testing the water and observing nearby habitat. Learn about physics through buoyancy and electrical wiring.
This new project is being rolled out across the state in phases starting in 2011. Find out more by contacting your county office.

4-H Science Training
Teams of adult and youth volunteers are trained with highly interactive curriculum in aquatic robotics or one of three other focus areas at the science trainings. More info
Minnesota State Fair
See the ROVs in action in the 4-H Building! 4-H plays a pivotal role in youth development and public education at the Minnesota State Fair. More than 7,000 4-H youth have the opportunity to interact with the public and educate fairgoers through 4-H exhibits, demonstrations, performances, and 4-H promotion. More info
