Minnesota 4-H State Dog Show

The Minnesota 4-H State Dog Show is an annual event held in the fall after the Minnesota State Fair. The State Dog Show consists of agility, obedience, and showmanship events.

  • September 22-23, 2012 - Minnesota State Fairgrounds, St. Paul

Who can attend?

4-H youth, who have completed 4th grade at the time of the show and have earned a blue ribbon at their county show.

How much does it cost?

2012 Program Fee was $15 plus $15 for each class entered.

Does your county have an outstanding youth and/or adult volunteer in the dog project?
If so, nominate them for a youth leader or adult leader award to be presented at the state dog show.
Submit the nomination forms below by September 1, 2012 to the address on the form.

State Dog Show Resources

    Prior to your County Fair/Qualifying Dog Show:

    Duplicate all materials to distribute in one packet to each 4-Her eligible for the State 4-H Dog Show.

    • Print out the 2012 Show Premium List and all 2012 Show Forms.
    • Set a county deadline for your 4-Hers to return all applicable 2012 Show Forms and fees to your county extension office. Note that checks are made payable to University of MN.
