Minnesota 4-H Dog Project Showcase
The state dog committee would like to highlight the Minnesota 4-H Dog project at the Minnesota State Fair during the livestock encampment weekend. We need youth from the 4-H dog project to be involved in this showcase in the 4-H Building and the Pet Center Building. This is a great opportunity to help promote the Minnesota 4-H Dog Project and we need lots of help to make this a success!

Who can attend?
Open to 4-H Dog Project youth!.
Interested 4-H members are asked to complete the sign-up form which will be posted here when it becomes available for 2011. Participating youth will receive a free gate pass and meal ticket, as well as a gate pass for a parent/guardian that brings them. Youth are encouraged to sign up for 3-4 activities. All dogs participating need to have a form Dog 4-H IDA on file to complete registration.
Topics:
A tentative schedule for the day includes:
8 a.m. - Registration
9 a.m. - Informal dog grooming and public visiting
10 a.m. - Group dog demonstration on rally (Pet Center)
11 a.m. - Group dog demonstration on obedience (Pet Center)
12 noon - Lunch break (meal ticket provided for 4-H participant)
1 p.m. - Group dog demonstration on agility (Pet Center)
2 p.m. - Group dog demonstration on showmanship
3 p.m. - Quiz bowl
4 p.m. - Dog activities conclude
Additional scheduling opportunities are available for members wishing to do individual demonstrations.
