Dog Agility Judges Seminar For Current and Prospective 4-H Judges

This is a seminar for current judges and prospective judges in Agility. 4-H dog project leaders or Extension personnel are welcome as auditors. It is NOT a seminar designed for younger 4-H members (though a youth leader in a county leadership position with interest in future judging would be welcome).

Who can attend?

Open to current judges and prospective judges in Agility. 4-H dog project leaders or Extension personnel are welcome as auditors. It is NOT a seminar designed for younger 4-H members (though a youth leader in a county leadership position with interest in future judging would be welcome).

If you are applying to be a new judge, you must also complete the judge application located at the state 4-H dog project web site. and include it with the registration form.

The written tests will be e-mailed to participants several days before the seminar, and evaluated at the seminar. The interview portion will be done via phone by Extension and judges committee representatives prior to the seminar.

Your trained dog is encouraged to attend this seminar with you (we need dogs to work with throughout the weekend). Please bring a dog kennel, leash, collar, etc. as appropriate.

Please bring a chair and a notebook.

Reference Information for a binder is available online. There will be an additional $25 fee if you would like to reeive the binder and not print it yourself. These binders are to be kept for your reference when judging and will be updated as needed.

Cost:

$25 for both days and includes lodging. More information on lodging arrangements after registration.

Make check payable to University of Minnesota and include with registration form.

New judge applicants must include the 4-H judge application form with registration form.
