Online initial certification for food managers
The online self-study program uses a mix of video, narration, animation, and interactive exercises for a hands-on learning experience.
This online version of the Initial certification for food managers course is offered so you can:
- Study at your own rate
- Take the course at home or work
- Work online day or night
The state of Minnesota requires that all food service establishments have one person certified as a food manager.
We use the Training Achievement Program Series (TAP Series) certification course. Take up to six months to complete your 10 to 12 hours of training on line and take the exam in person at one of our testing sites. Pass the 90 question exam with 75% and process your paperwork for certification.
Topics include: food safety's impact on the operation, the flow of food through the operation, and managing your operation.
Audience
Recommended for personnel in restaurants, grocery store delis, resort and hotel kitchens and other foodservice establishments. Course satisfies the education requirement for Food Manager Certification.
