People with limited resources often run short of food at the end of the month. Some may not realize they could make healthier choices at the store or better use of the food they bring home. Our Simply Good Eating nutrition classes provide six hours of education, assuring learning and behavior change. Cooking Matters® Minnesota empowers families at risk of hunger with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to make healthy, delicious and affordable meals. School cafeterias are on the frontlines of improving childhood health. We offer face-to-face training for school foodservice directors and staff to improve their offerings. Schools and farmers are collaborating to bring fresh produce to Minnesota students. We provide resources that help schools all the way from finding local farmers to planning their own garden.
