This is the user’s guide for the Simply Good Eating — Complete Curriculum. This booklet provides EFNEP and FSNEP staff, other nutrition educators, and teachers with easy-to-use information about how to use any or all of the curriculum units to their maximum potential. Simply Good Eating helps participants learn how to apply basic nutrition principles to their food choices, plan healthy meals on a limited budget, stretch their food dollar, and cook with an emphasis on safe food practices. The curriculum is based on experiential learning and proven teaching strategies are used for children, teen, and adult participants and complies with the 2005 Dietary Guidelines for Americans and MyPyramid.
