What activity level should I choose?

If you never or rarely include physical activity in your day, choose Sedentary.

If you include light activity (walking, gardening) or moderate activity (fast walking, water aerobics) 2-3 times a week, choose Somewhat active.

If you include at least 30 minutes of moderate activity most days of the week, or 20 minutes of vigorous activity (running, bicycling, lap swimming) at least 3 times a week, choose Active.

If you include large amounts of moderate or vigorous activity in each day, choose Very active.

If you include vigorous exercise or sports every day and have a physically demanding job, or train twice a day, choose Extremely active.
