Volunteer
Volunteers are a key part of a successful, sustainable Cooking Matters®
program in Minnesota. Cooking Matters® MN combines the expertise
of Extension in the area of nutrition with local chefs, classroom assistants,
shoppers, translators, etc. who volunteer their time and talents to teach
Minnesota families how to create healthy, delicious meals on a limited budget.
Our goal is to increase the confidence of our participants so they know
how to go to the grocery store, make healthy choices and cook them in a way
their family with want to eat.
